comment Dual monitor setup: DVI + VGA or DVI + DVI?
A video signal over DVI produces a much more crisp image than over VGA. But if you need VGA, it's easy to go from a digital signal to an analog, but not the other way around. DVI+DVI is the best option.

comment How do I delete everything on a partition, except for Windows?
Your question is rather ambiguous. Are you trying to uninstall programs on the Win7 partition, or delete files, or what? What is the purpose of deleting "everything"?

I have access to neither, unfortunately. Are you able to get the tray through retail distributors (without RAM in it)?

comment Applications randomly alt-tab? (especially full screen games)
Are the physical keys on the keyboard malfunctioning? Maybe they've been subject to spills, crumbs, or dust bunnies? If you unplug the keyboard (or use a different keyboard) does this issue still occur?

Does it reach the windows loading screen? If so, can you access safe mode? (Press F8 before the windows loading screen appears)

Try something between 1200kbps and 2500kbps and see how you like the results.

comment How to increase the capacity of a RAID 5 array?
Note that the array will not utilize a larger capacity drive to the fullest--it will match what the rest of the array uses. So if the drives in your array are 320GB and you add a 1TB drive, you will only be able to use 320GB.

comment How to run an application in Windows 2008 before login?
The startup type of the services should be set to "automatic". If it is and it's still not starting up, there's something else going on.

Nice find! I wonder when it's going to be rolled out over auto-updates.

Look in the preferences area. Opera is pretty flexible.

comment Is my RAM ok when Memtest86+ says it is?
A visual inspection of the capacitors is all you need to determine if those are bad or not. The top of a capacitor should be flat. If it's bulging or leaking, it's bad.

comment Viewing the bandwidth usage of a wireless device connected to my router
Only the paid version of DD-WRT has granular bandwidth monitoring. All the free versions just show graphs on current usage for the WAN, LAN, and Wireless network interfaces.

What programs? I commonly see this with skype and apache. If that's what your situation is, start apache first, then skype.
