comment correctly sizing PNG images in markdown with pandoc for html/pdf/docx
@JohnMacFarlane: I see that pandoc's behavior is correct in taking dpi into account - but I want it to ignore dpi and stick with absolute sizes, so that I can keep a single high res PNG for all images. Is the correct way to do this to make lower resolution version of the images, or is there a way to make pandoc simply only use the dimensions of image and ignore resolution? That would be simplest from my end

comment setting monospaced font on Emacs?
on my mac box I see /System/Library/Fonts/Monaco.dfont - don't I need it in .ttf format to use on ubuntu? If so, how can I convert it to ttf or find the ttf version on my mac?

comment setting monospaced font on Emacs?
thanks but on second thought I'm not sure the original font I am aiming to use was Liberation Mono. It could be that the system defaulted to monospace or whatever the default system font, which emacs does. I'm just trying to achieve the exact same font as the screen shot above. Do you know which font it is?
