comment browse a library of iso without mounting each iso
@Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 Not exactly a duplicate as the OP mentions tar -t which is not a Windows command. My guess is that OP is using Linux, but (s)he needs to clarify that.

comment What's the difference between --param=“value” and “--param=value”?
And the shell-script equivalent: printargs(){ local arg; for arg; do echo "$arg"; done; }

comment Why Firefox alert me about HTTPs “Untrusted” Connection on Positivessl - Comodo certificate?
You should not include the root CA. It is no use (it does not help in building a trust path) and enlarges the initial handshake size. Please test your setup with the ssllabs tool I linked above.

comment chmod 700 -R ~ - is it safe?
This GNU coreutils command has the same effect: chmod -R ~ go-rwx,u+rwX. It first removes group and world permissions, then adds read and write to the user and execute to directories. Warning: some files are expected to have an execute bit (like those in ~/bin/ or node_modules/bin/).

@lito If I'm not mistaken, you should key + cert or pfx, not both. If you have a single file (for pfx) with keys and certs concatenated, you should append the CA bundle to that file. Otherwise, append the file to the cert. I suggest to keep the keys and certs separate anyway so you can set very tigh permissions on the keys.

comment Can I fork a copy command on ReadyNAS SSH?
If rsync gets interrupted, you will still be left with a temporary file. It just helps you by not having to copy existing files over. What you actually need for persistent sessions is GNU screen as poste by Jake.

What do you mean by "fork a cp or mv process"? Usually shell already forks and executes those programs. What is your goal? Resuming copies? See rsync.

comment Openvpn to stream media to Android
@JB0x2D1 Install a server (nginx for example), change its configuration to listen on at least the OpenVPN tun/tap interface (or all addresses). After that, you can access your media via the webservice listening on the OpenVPN server's private IP address. Do not forget to configure permissions appropriately, i.e., the nginx user must be able to read files and descend directories.

comment Captured packets with tcpdump vs. tcpdump > file
SSH is only detected and provided as a hint to Wireshark GTK/QT, not tshark.
