comment What is the correct cipher name for RC4 in Chrome?
@gentmatt See iana.org/assignments/tls-parameters/… for a list of all cipher suites. You can ignore the anonymous, export, PSK and KRB5 cipher suites as they are not used. 0xC011 is TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_RC4_128_SHA. Missing RC4 cipher suites in this list are 0xC002,0xC007,0xC00C.

comment What are the Compile time considerations to reduce the size of binary on Linux?
@nyk_mat Is this about the Linux kernel or a program that is intended to run on Linux? In case of the Linux kernel, use make menuconfig and disable what you do not need. For other programs, check whether you can disable features (for autoconf projects, ./configure --disable-FEATURE --without-PACKAGE where FEATURE and PACKAGE have to be replaced. See ./configure --help)

comment bbswitch fails to turn off discrete graphics
@bharat_iyengar Following the README, you see that you might have to update your initial ramdisk. I am not so familiar with Fedora, but according to their wiki, you can run mkinitrd. As Fedora seems to use systemd, they likely use kmod too. Usually you do not need to enable the card on shutdown.

comment Force https performance
Apache does not ship with this module by default, the performance issue that OP is describing is not related to HTTPS on its own, but premature optimization / stupid configuration.

Possible duplicate of security.stackexchange.com/q/43376/2630? (which has more context). David, you do not have to use Apache... you can also use nginx which has a very clean configuration syntax. See nginx.org/en/docs/http/converting_rewrite_rules.html if you want to switch.

comment Where do I download Windows 7 (legally from Microsoft)?
There exists a longer list for other languages on sites.google.com/site/linuxlablibrary/windows-iso. I have also read on a Dutch forum that removing sources\ei.cfg allows you to turn an installation ISO into any of the Starter (x86), Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate versions. (oh, that was stated by Karan too :))
