comment should every TCP data packet be acknowledge or not?
@misteryes This is also real-world behavior. If you want to see the "practical behavior", install a monitor like Wireshark or consult one of the open-source TCP stacks (e.g. Linux).

comment Curl --insecure error in Cygwin (works in Linux)
Most likely an old or incomplete version of curl. What version of curl do you have and where did you get it?

comment Recommended way of installing PHP 5.4
@DevilsChild Are you sure about that? Could it be that you used an older image instead of the downloaded one? It seems unlikely to me that the Debian installer has such a severe issue.

comment What 10m USB extension cable can I use for a USB display?
The included cable is a USB-y one by the way, for sufficient power I probably need to connect a USB wall charger. I am still interested whether this is really necessary. The main concern is high signal transfer (loss/corruption/latency) though.

comment How to disable CSP in Firefox for just bookmarklets?
The on-demand feature is very important. I have bookmarklets that insert a quick eval-textarea with some features that does not fill the a large part of the page, one for creating a QR code for the current page and some other smaller parts. Those are not GH-specific. The power of bookmarklets is that they can be created and removed very easily. GreaseMonkey was already installed, but that is not going to solve the CSP issue. Thanks for the suggestions, perhaps a solution for Firebug will also be of benefit for bookmarklets.
