This will break if the directory or file name contain a space in their path. You need to quote the substitution properly.

comment How do i download files from telnet? wget not working
Your question is very unspecific. Seems to be a duplicate of this other. If you can give more info perhaps this can be answered, but it's not clear what you're asking or what the context is.

That's because you're on Windows. Like I said, this answer assumes Linux or Unix. You were not being more specific in your question. You can achieve the same on Windows using Cygwin or similar GNU/Linux layers for Windows.

Weird, I cannot reproduce this. Works perfectly for me on OS X with the same ffmpeg version. Can you supply the sample files you are using? Does it work when you use the images only, i.e., no music?

Is there no output beyond Press [q] to stop? It should show that it's encoding a frame. Or does it just stop immediately after that? Also, are there really only 6 images in your folder – shouldn't there be more?

@LordNeckbeard Hm. I hadn't thought of that. Actually I guessed the OP might want to rename the files based on that info.

Can you try again with a more recent version of ffmpeg? You can download a static build from here to quickly check: ffmpeg.org/download.html

Sure it's possible… Have you searched for the keywords "OS X" and "VPN server"? Have you tried something already?
