comment How to automatically make a program fullscreen when on a second monitor
@Lukas, Welcome to SuperUser. I noticed an edit attempt specifying Windows as your OS(Operating System) but it was made by a different user. If this was you, please edit using your original account. Tags are a good place to specify OS as well!

Ok, does it appear randomly, or can you predict when it will appear? What happens when you delete it?

comment A keyboard key does't work first (unless pressed very hard) but starts to work better and better within minutes of struggling
Sounds like your keyboard is simply physically damaged(it is 4 years old!). The reason it gets easier may be due to many different things such as thermal expatiation of the contact metal or increased viscosity of an impediment due to heat. I can't see any possible fix other then a good cleaning or replacement of the keyboard.

If it is not already answered: I'd recommend editing your question to describe what happened to make it lose capacity in the first place.

A virus is a type of malware. When I say malware I mean anything bad for your computer: Viruses, Spyware, Worms, rootkits etc. I would recommend an OS reinstall from the sound of it.

comment Can we get a virus by allowing an External Protocol Request in Chrome?
thanks for your first answer! Just a tip though: While past experience is great, always try to answer the question directly as possible when using an answer. I'd recommend using a comment for such past experiences.

comment What is the function of the F8 key?
Thanks for posting! We'll need a bit more details to answer your question though. Can you provide us a few more, otherwise we will be guessing since F8 can do different things depending on context.

comment Why is it faster to copy than overwrite?
Correct me if I'm wrong but SSD and HDD are far different in operations. SSDs need TRIM because they can't determine which data is free(transistors still holds charge unless manually uncharged). In a delete on an HDD, it is simply deleting a pointer to data allowing that region on the disk to be overwritten which is very quick. This is why Undelete works. On an SSD, it does take longer to free up existing data since it has to actually reset it.See tuaw.com/2011/03/27/keeping-ssds-in-trim-doing-the-math

Also, your host file may be hidden. You may need to show hidden files to see it.

comment Cannot connect laptop to monitor using HDMI
Check your drivers. You often need to have the real card drivers(not generic ones) to use HDMI. I'm assuming you are on Windows 7 or 8, you may want to tag your OS and put what type of model system you have.
