I also noticed, that our DHCP Server has a lease for my computer, even if my computer does not use it. Seems that some service on my computer requests an IP, but I don't want it...

That sounds great! Thanks! I added my script to dhclient-exit-hooks.d but today I can't tell if it works. I have to wait until the IP changes the first time. I'll keep you up to date!

Thanks again! When I tried to change the DPI with xrandr I got an error telling something about failed to get size of gamma for output default. My solution is quite simple: I removed the nvidia driver and installed the nouveau driver. Everything looks better now :-)
