Wiping an account's setting and files when user logs off I think the only time I've seen such a feature mentioned, is as a speculated new feature in Windows 8. |

How the computer could be used by two users at the same time @Husker - I'm not sure you understand what it is you're asking for here. Teamplayer still requires a separate computer, and will still use the same session (in Win7, there is only one) on the computer - thereby hijacking keyboard and mouse control from any other users. |

Is is possible to create a data collection set, in Windows 7's Performance Monitor, that collects bandwidth used per process? @user67052 - This question is about a "workstation" Operating System. It will probably be migrated to SuperUser. ServerFault is more geared toward "server" OS's and enterprise-level issues. |

Powerline network adapters vs wireless range extender @Linker3000 - However, the ethernet cable requires a much deeper level of physical access to the system than any wireless or powerline system. Powerline still needs a deeper level of physical access than WiFi, but has more widespread reach than the ethernet cable. Often times [signal leakage > non-encryption] in terms of security risks to home networks. |

What could prevent Outlook 2007 from saving account passwords? @Kyle - In the end, it seems like it had something to do with a corrupt user profile. Dad created a new account and moved his files over, and it seems everything's working now. |

Problem with internet over WiFi Are you in a house, or apartment building? Which specific indicator lights are flashing when the machines are shut down? Does your wireless network require encryption and authentication? If so, what kinds? |

sniffer like wireshark or wpepro with no wcap/admin rights but portable I think the OP is looking for a packet sniffer similar in capability to Wireshark, that does not require installation or Administrator rights. I suggest someone with sufficient privs edit and re-open. |
