section headings happen to be the last line on a page - how to fix that? Thank you works great. I am using the built-in heading styles, and keep with next is not enabled by default. Can I somehow enable this for all headings? Because it is very tedious to do every time this problem pops up. |

Setting up ad blocking on the router? I like this method very much. One problem I see though, this can not block Google text ads or similar, can it? I find the text ads actually more intrusive than the graphical ones... |

Very slow internet with Linksys WRT54GL only in wireless mode (wired is OK) I feel downvoting is okay. It's clear that we are not at that level of troubleshooting anymore. I would also downvote if someone suggests to check if the power cords are plugged in. |

I am sorry but I do not feel I like to award a bounty yet. Because there have been many good tips from you (thank you!), BUT I already tried most of them (switching channels, switching b/g, isolating the problem, resetting, changing the firmware...) and it did not help. It may be that superuser will auto-award the bounty. I will award the bounty if I can get a specific solution. |

Very slow internet with Linksys WRT54GL only in wireless mode (wired is OK) Somehow I don't think it has anything to do with the signal strength: the router is about 2 meters from the laptop line-of-sight. Also, the ping to the router itself is fast: when I load a tomato page, which is inside the router, I have no lag! The slow download seems only to apply to websites. |

I have found posts on the internet where people seek help for the problem you are referring to, the problem where the speed degrades over time. This is not the problem I am talking about, I think. The symptoms are different. Do you have any hint/solution regarding my problem? |
