comment Why don't other laptop manufacturers use a charger like Apple's `MagSafe'?
Maybe because Apple MagSafe patent doesn't describe shape, but mechanics of the connection. MagSafe patent clearly states "Magnetic connector for electronic device", so it is quite wide description. I think this stops other manufacturers from using it. Also I wouldn't be suprised if Apple even didn't want to sell license for MagSafe to them

comment Emulating a Serial Device on OS X
I've been using macosxvirtualserialport to emulate serial port. Are you sure that you're setting baud rate correctly? It should be visible without any problem. CuteCom is just terminal, sorry for misguiding.

It's realy strange, that you can't move them. What error do you get when you try to move/copy them?

comment Mac OS X GNU Make default parameters
That will work only in shell, it may not work in IDE like QtCreator but it's one of options. I thought gnumake has some kind of config file

comment Netgear WNR1000 WiFi speed
My question was what is limiting my speed and not "is it good speed". Your answer isn't helpfull at all. I would even say that your answer gives me informations I already had when asking question.
