comment How do I disable the 30 second delay on Remote Desktop connections to Windows 7 when a user is logged in?
Why is your laptop terminating the connection when you walk away in the first place? Does RDC terminate when the screen locks?

comment Sharing external storage between different operating systems?
Yes, FAT32 will not support single files greater than 4GB. I'm curious of the same thing, is there a file system to use on both Mac and Windows that supports files greater than 4GB? I'm not sure if NTFS support in snow leopard will let you write to it yet or not.

comment Is it still possible to download Visual C# Express 2005?
That article may or may not work for the express edition, unless that's what you had.

@Sathya: The point is Dana is trying to uninstall VS2005, but due to the missing .msi, has to reinstall/repair to do so.

comment Can I use my Windows 7 license in a dual-boot configuration?
Aren't the 64-bit and 32-bit installation discs sold separately? You would get seperate keys in this case, but in the case of the RTM, the codes worked on either version, so it'll likely be the case on the final version. Don't install both though if you don't have to. 64-bit works fine for everything, including games. I've been using it for months and have never had a "32-bit issue".

While the executable may work, in Windows at least, since uninstall information is written to the registry, these paths will be incorrect and trying to uninstall the application will result in an error and Windows just deleting the entry from the list. It's usually not a good idea to move the directory.

comment Can I copy my operating-system on an USB-stick to use it in the go?
@Dynamic: No. Windows installs based on your hardware, and moving it to another computer gives a blue screen, mostly on purpose (security of copying windows installations)

It's the equivalent of doing a Live CD boot off of a USB stick. Your biggest issue will be that it'll be slow to boot, and possibly slow to run.

comment Vista and shoutcast compatibility
It looks like there's no true question here. Shoutcast doesn't support Vista or Win7, only 98 - XP. Although it's interesting to see that they'll still support Windows 98 but not Vista. Judging from that alone, I wouldn't expect any quick results.

comment Do disabled Firefox extensions make Firefox slower?
An extension can also be disabled because you disabled it. I disable extensions that I haven't used in a while all the time, while leaving them installed, just so when I do need them later, they're there but not slowing down the browser in the mean time.
