comment Unwanted automatic formatting in Lync 2010
Strangely this doesn't keep lync from formatting a path like 'C:\Program Files\' as a link

comment Multiple bluetooth chipsets?
The device manager showed Generic Bluetooth (windows default), I just started installing all the driver packages one by one until one of them didn't fail. Now it shows that it's the Intel one.

comment Install MS SuperPreview or Expression Web to other drive than C?
I'm not using this anymore, but if I would do so today, this looks like a legit solution. Still wonder why this is needed in the first place ...

In that case, you can maybe mark as duplicate? I didn't find one earlier, but the absence of evidence isn't the evidence of absence ;)

comment Exe file with GUID as name from c:\windows\installer launched at boot
That is a thorough answer, thanks. This is, however, the first time I see a program act like this although there are multiple programs that are installed for all users and do launch on start (think AVG, Launchy etc). Why does streamtome act differently then the rest?
