comment How can you see the actual hard link by ls?
@PeterCordes: Is the refcount actually stored IN the hardlink entry? That's what your wording implies ("All they do is refcount the inode...") But that wouldn't make sense if the links don't know anything about each other, since when one updated, all the others would somehow have to be updated. Or is the refcount stored in the inode itself? (Forgive me if it's a dumb question, I consider myself a newbie and I'm still learning).

comment Use Microsoft OneNote sharing link without a Microsoft account
This might be a workaround. But I worry about just copying the whole file. What about update conflicts? Doesn't the native "sharing" capability in OneNote handle concurrency issues better than "just copy the whole file"?

comment How do you open the command prompt in Windows 7 with a shortcut key?
@MooingDuck: Haha, you're right. That's what I do as well (Win-R, cmd, enter). I do it so frequently that in my brain, I thought Win-R WAS a shortcut to Cmd. My mistake. :-)

Why are people saying there is no preset one? Doesn't Win-R count? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question...
