comment How to click at 2 different places simultaneously by only 1 click?
Reminds me of the dual separated keys for nuclear warhead security... wait... are you attempting to initiate a nuclear launch sequence alone? Hmmmm... See how Richard Pryor did it in Superman III.

comment Unable to access router home page
@SeanClt is on the right track. Very often, wireless routers do not allow access to configuration when connected via wireless. Connect to your router via a cable and try again. Most often, you can turn this limitation off, but you have to connect via a cable FIRST to do so. It's a security thing.

comment In Microsoft Word, how can I prevent a find what command from being searched when mentioned in the document?
paraphrase your notes, or put extra spaces between things, just so it won't match. (or both!). S P A C E S or D-A-S-H-E-S can be used effectively too.

comment wlan0 goes down when eth0 not used
Use allow hot-plug xxx or auto xxx, but not both for an adapter. I use allow hot-plug xxx for both eth0 and wlan0, both work when connected (cabled for eth0, ssid present for wlan0, as expected)

comment Router logs show constant unknown port mapping (forwarding)?
Transmission works very well for me, including proper use of uPnP ports. It's available in the Debian Repos too. (The port :3074 entry is for your XBox)

comment connected to wifi hotspot but pages won't load
Most 'hotspots' require you to authenticate / login. They redirect ANY web page load to their sign-in page, then (if authenticated properly), they allow remote page loads. What does your browser display when you open it and attempt to navigate somewhere? Another thought: Many hotspots have a limit on total number of connected units... How many other computers are connected to this hotspot?

comment No C++ pthread support in build farm?
libglibXXX-dev installed? pkg-config? Usually errors like this are X-dev related. Find the associated -dev package to install. Pull list of installed packages on your system, and on build farm system, compare?

comment VIM only storing first 50 lines when yanking between files
What order are the two set viminfo lines? You have two lines it looks like.... an addition (set viminfo+=) and a set (set viminfo=) (note the +). I'm guess you have them in the wrong order. Better... Don't add (+=) values to viminfo. Set it all at once.
