comment Avoiding the pesky Windows 7 System Reserved Partition
I tried this for Windows 10 over EFI, Windows Setup wouldn't let me choose the partition, complaining, "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks." I tried again, adding convert gpt after the clean command. This caused Windows Setup to let me choose the partition, but setup immediately failed with another error.

I tried. Only one language (English) was shown (no duplicates). The wizard wouldn't let me uninstall it even if I wanted to.

@DavidPostill Unlike the "Not Finding Apps" problem, in my case, all apps and indexed and display properly, as well as documents and even old-school Control Panel items. Only the Settings items are missing. Additionally, the leading answer to that problem - running Get-AppXPackage - had no effect.

@MC10 Nothing there worked, not did restarting, including after the re-index completed.

How do you adjust the Windows 10 power settings setup to provide maximum drive performance? You just have to go whole hog and set the Power Options to "High performance", or is there a more granular option?
