If that is true, then you WinSxS directory is probably screwed up. Some program may fail to run.

comment Can I put two graphics cards on this motherboard?
It only has 1 x16 PCIe slot. Probably wouldn't be a good idea. I also assume that by GPU you mean Graphics Card? The GPU is technically just the "chip" component.

comment Windows 7 doesn't see wireless on Channel 13 - Ubuntu does
What is the make / model of the wireless card? It's like that the driver is restricting access to that channel. You will probably have to find an alternative driver.

comment How do I make two different Google Chrome profiles?
Pretty sure you need to enable this in chrome://flags/ before the preference will become visible, at least as of Chrome 15 stable. (may just want to clarify that).

Can you confirm (with an edit) that you are sure you are looking at the right motherboard specs?

comment How do I make two different Google Chrome profiles?
@ldigas Separate cookies, bookmarks, settings, everything. It's quite literally like using Chrome on two different computers.

comment Why do I have so many HTTP packets in Wireshark when I'm not doing anything?
Your network adapter is doing all sorts of coordination on a network that you don't see, and doesn't require interaction. You will need to apply a filter to WireShark for HTTP traffic to make any sense of it.

comment Why does .Net Framework 4 Extended take so long to boot?
@leppie: Soluto is a boot benchmarking tool and I am just wondering if it is getting confused about something.

comment Why does .Net Framework 4 Extended take so long to boot?
The .NET Framework 4 is just a framework, it doesn't really do anything to "boot" (unless it was the reboot after installation as @leppie suggested). Are you sure this application isn't mistaking it for something built using the Framework?
