websites resolving in browser but not resolving in CLI. Can ping IP but not domain name (unknown host) There's probably something wrong with your DNS configuration. Take a look in the /etc/resolv.conf file and the files under /etc/resolvconf/ and see if there's something fishy going on there. In theory the IPs you see there should match your network settings in the GUI. Also, try configuring your network connection with a static IP if you haven't done so already. |

Any way to make google remember additional accounts in multiple sign-in? In Chrome 19 the option you are looking for is in settings->show advanced settings->passwords and forms. The specific names may be different. |

Any way to make google remember additional accounts in multiple sign-in? BTW, the account name should be stored if you are saving passwords. If that's not happening then you may have a mis-configuration somewhere. |

Are these memory modules suitable for my computer? Why isn't it recommended to mix modules of different brands or specs (as long as the motherboard supports them)? |

Can I prevent virtualbox from being closed once launched in fullscreen mode? VirtualBox by itself can't do this AFAIK, and if you don't control the host there's even less chance that you'll be able to do it. |

What's more harmful to a CPU? High load or high temperature? CPUs are made of transistors, and transistors do wear out. That being said, the normal use we put them through in desktops and laptops probably isn't enough to wear them out at least for two decades. Probably more. |

Is it possible to use my ipod with my PC's internet without wifi? Make it clearer that I was only referring to the question of using the USB connection for internet sharing. |

Is it possible to use my ipod with my PC's internet without wifi? If it has a wifi adapter that would work, but the OP clearly said he doesn't have Wifi, only a modem. |
