comment How to fix font anti-aliasing in IntelliJ IDEA when using high DPI?
For me on Ubuntu 13.04 and IntelliJ 12.1.5, the settings in the options file did nothing, but removing Hints and Instructions from the font via FontForge did work. I also had to fiddle a bit with the settings in File->Settings->IDE Settings->Editor

comment How can I force gvim in awesome to fill the screen?
Worked great for me in Ubuntu 13.04! I had to create .gtkrc-2.0 though, as it didn't exist yet.

comment Is email@“happy@guy.com” a valid email address?
Ah, I think I have been reading it incorrectly. When mentioning the quotes it is talking about the text before the @ sign and domain. So maybe "email@email"@happyguy.com is a valid email address?

comment Is email@“happy@guy.com” a valid email address?
Interesting. Letters, digits, and hyphens are all atext. So I wonder what kind of domain would require quotes as specified in 3.4.1?
