I live in Washington state in a rural area near the Cascade foothills just south of Seattle and east of Tacoma, roughly 5 miles (8 km) away from a small town named Enumclaw.
I've been programming most of my adult life, beginning in high school at a part-time NASA job utilizing a CDC 7600 mainframe computer, punched cards, and FORTRAN, and then later in mixture of BASIC and 6502 assembler on my very own 64K Apple II personal computer while completing college. Currently most of my interest and expertise in software is with using C++ and Python.
