comment How to stop my brother's MitM attack
Thanks for the surprisingly detailed answer considering my obviously ranting question. I guess the main reason I'm irritated is because once he turns off WiFi on his phone, I lose all internet access until the computer finally realises that he's not there anymore...

I'm on Windows 7, he's got some Android phone, no idea what he's using there. I don't know how he's MitM'ing, but I'm connected by WiFi. He is physically in between me and the router.

Bonus points if you can tell me how to screw with him in return.

comment Change computer to mono sound?
I purchased an adapter, but for some reason it makes the sound come out very quiet and at a lower quality. I suspect this may be because my earbuds also include a microphone, so the differing connection could be screwing something up.

Okay, I've got it figured out. Apparently resoring the previous session means restore the previous processes, not the tabs therein specifically. After closing and opening some tabs, it seems all is well. Thank you!

Eh... I don't like rebooting my computer XD I'll see if I still have the problem the next time I install updates.

I have two pairs of tabs from the same domain, yes, but that's still 8 distinct origins bundled into 3 tab processes.

I have set the value to 32 (0x20) and restarted IE. I have 10 tabs open right now, but only 4 processes show up (one for the frame, three tab processes).

I'd rather not "experiment with values" when it comes to the browser I use for work :p I understand what key to change, but the values make little to no sense to me. What value should I use to force one process per tab?
