Does it have a dedicated graphics card, or is it sharing some of that RAM with the GPU?

comment Windows 10 randomly restarting
I had a similar problem not to long ago. Turned out to be the power supply. It eventually gave out after several months of oddities.

comment Reinstalling Windows without losing data
Yes, instead of doing a custom install, select Upgrade, and it will install Windows, replaced the old one, but not delete your data. It functions in a very similar fashion as the repair install use to.

comment Windows 8.1 occassional boot delay
I would do a chkdsk /f/r and a sfc /scannow in the command prompt, if neither shows any errors I would use a utility to check for bad sectors or a failing hard drive.

comment Windows 8.1 puting hard drive into sleep mode
Sure, but what is most likely preventing Windows from going into sleep mode is another piece of software, in my experience the Steam Client prevents Windows from going into sleep mode. Anyways what I have done is to make sure that Steam is closed, then I set the computer to go to sleep after so many minutes (I think 15). I set the main power button to put the computer to sleep as well when pressed. If I am feeling inpatient I just do it through the menu. You can read the following article. lifehacker.com/5924010/…

comment How to prevent firefox from melting my CPU?
You might want to consider a different Browser, avoiding flash (using HTML5) and cleaning the the air vents on your laptop with some compressed air.

comment Accessing to IP cameras behind TL-MR3020 nano router
In my experience the best solution would be to have the camerasconnct to a dvr that would record the video and manage the cameras then you would only have to worry about 1 ip to manage. And if you wanted access off-site you could open the port for the dvr
