@random how is this off topic? I'm trying to find if there are any linux compatible broadband cards? I'm not asking for buying advice, I'm asking for information if they exist

another thing to consider is that many OEMs (ala Dell, HP, etc) put some protection in the install disc preventing you from installing it on a computer from another manufacturer.

added note that the new graphics card would need three outputs

@typoknig Since his mobo accepts only one GPU that means he cannot just add a new video card with a single output because SLI/Crossfire doesn't work on him computer. The OP would either have to buy a new fairly expensive triple output video card or use the USB-DVI converter @edusysadmin recommended. I guess you didn't read my answer fully. :-)

@Phoshi exactly, there isn't any good reason (in microsoft's opinion) to put the effort into enabling IE9 on XP

@Karim The graphics improvement isn't just for actual images, it's also used for text, css & javascript handline. I don't think they are actually going to lose any browser marketshare because of this decision though. Most people using IE, I believe, will probably stay on IE 8 and not necessarily switch to another browser.

@Karim I believe IE9 is about more standards compliance, more security, and faster operation.
