comment How can I debug problems with Citrix XenApp?
you have to setup your browser to download the ICA file instead of opening (or if you have the dialog -> just use "Save..").

You can debug the process with the following steps. First download the ICA File (right click on the application on the Citrix Website -> Save as...). Second step start the Citrix receiver via command line (don't know where ubuntu stores the client but you could try /opt/citrix/bin/wfica) with this options "/opt/citrix/bin/wfica -log $SAVEDFILE

Did you have any corporate Proxy Settings in within your Citrix Environment. If the setting for the Access Gateways are not set propably it gets the proxy settings from the corporate network which are not available for you in a public network.

Which Login do you mean? The user Login or the remote Login via Teamviewer ID? Do you use a Proxy? Is it defined in Teamviewer?

comment Is it possible to install Windows 98 on a VM in order to run a 16 bits app that accesses an old VLB data capture card from the host machine?
Another way could be using a linux live cd with wine (for the app software) and gain access to the SCADA card.

comment Set proxy to auto in Linux Mint
Only way to autodiscover the proxy is WPAD or a PAC file. If you use DHCP and the environment is correctly set up, you could read the proxy option from /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient-XXXX.lease | /var/lib/dhcpcd/*.lease . If the enviroment use fixed client ips you should check if a PAC file is used.

comment Sometimes need to turn printer on/off to process print queue?
Are you using an Print server? If yes which version? Normaly when the checkbox is grayed out it means that the driver is not fully supported for that OS.
