comment is it possible to detect that someone has used a VPN after the VPN has been disabled?
If I have used a VPN and during that time have NOT accessed my Tera account, then disabled the VPN and tried logging in to my Tera account, they should not be able to detect that I have used the VPN, because I wasn't using their services while on VPN. And even if they can detect that for some reason, banning for that is retarded to say the least.

Yeah, that's logical apart from the "decline the login" part. It doesn't make sense to ban someone AGAIN if the current connection is NOT from a VPN just because they connected with a VPN some time ago. That's just rubbing it in their face.

But my current IP will have changed, so the comparison will be false... Isn't that how it works? Or does the VPN-IP equal my normal IP?

But my IP should go back to normal once I disable the VPN, shouldn't it? If so, then them comparing my IP with the VPN IP should return false right after I disable it.

@CostinGușă - I've long since gotten used to the Chrome way.

comment How to revert recent underline change in Chrome?
It's a broken feature, for sure. Pretty much every site I use has had some problems with fonts, and it sucks even more for commercial products, because we can't actually affect this since this is completely client-side.

comment vmware player - vm has no network connection, static host ip
I'll be damn, started the VM up today and it just worked... Using NAT, no special settings. I have no idea why, I hadn't touched the VM since I wrote the question. Sorry about that, I know it's stupid. But thanks a lot for trying!

@RobinHood - both of those were checked by default, IIRC. In any case, both of them are checked and they don't really change anything for me.

I don't need to connect to the VM, I need the opposite - to access websites on my host OS and on the internet from the VM. What connection boxes? There are no connection boxes in the VM settings for NAT, only for bridged.
