comment opening files directly from Google Chrome
Zooks64 had already written that... It's not exactly what I had in mind since it means that that specific file type will ALWAYS be opened, not only in that specific download, but I've gotten used to it now; been using Chrome ever since the day I installed it.

Well, doesn't matter anymore, got the Windows installation up and running smooth enough. This is just a temporary PC so I won't bother much about getting it to run perfectly.

Took me an hour but in the end I made a handy batch file with proper input to do this :) I suppose the question can be closed then.
