comment Skype 5 not working on Windows 7 x64 after EasyBits GO installation — had to switch back to v4
It seems I don't have any system restore points from before the problem ... I have seven restore points in the last 2 days, but the problem occurred 3 days ago. Darn it :(

Damn! Why do I keep forgetting about system restore points?! I have even used them myself in the past ... thanks! Will let you know if it worked.

comment Set height of Windows Vista taskbar buttons
OK, my quick launch icons are already large, but I will definitely look into this regedit thing tomorrow! To bad that it says "doesn't work if taskbar is left or right" at the top of the page, though.

comment Set height of Windows Vista taskbar buttons
I found the "caption icon" size in the (old) Windows display settings ... they actually increase the icon size of the taskbar buttons and tray icons, but also that of the "X" (close window) icon. And I found a software to increase the height of the taskbar buttons, but I don't find the page now, and I don't want to install software for that purpose (it's a computer at my employer's office). I still think that the software only changes a registry setting, so it should be there.

comment Asus F5N laptop built-in card reader driver problem
Thanks, but the only info in there is the generic driver info from the Windows system driver. Nothing hardware specific. Device Class GUID = {4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}, Hardware ID = USBSTOR\DiskGeneric-xD/SDMMC/MS/Pro_1.00 and similar.

comment Is it possible to work with an offline folder with automatic network synchronisation?
The Samba server is a Debian computer, but think of it as a simple NAS drive. There's one computer on which I work. I'm accessing the files on the server with it, but want to access a local mirror of those files so that I don't have to use network files.

Can I have two dropbox folders in one network which will get updated over the network? I thought this is only for completely remote computers with internet synchronization - I mean, I only have one computer here
