comment Why does Outlook keep moving emails into a custom “Junk” folder?
It's Office365. I have checked Office365 and I do not have any server-side settings that moves emails to any folder.

It also cannot be at the server level because only 1 user has this problem when the email is CC-ed to many recipients on the same domain/server. I think it should be client issue.

comment Why does Outlook keep moving emails into a custom “Junk” folder?
The folder in question is not the Outlook Junk Email folder, it is a regular folder named Junk. I can rename it to anything too. So I don't think it is the native Automatic Junk Filtering. What else can it be?

Installing the client should not give you problems. Connecting to VPN is another story. Need more details and your ipconfig output.

comment How does DNS work for mail server? And how to check MX and A record?
For beginners, you might want to think that domain and IP are just names that identify a particular server. When you check the MX, it gives you a bunch of domain and IP. This just tells you what are the servers that manage Mail Exchange for anyone@google.com email addresses.

comment Windows 7 cannot create system image after sysprep
Actually resetting the password is secondary. I am taking the opportunity to learn a new method and tool, so would like to know why sysprep behave like this. I can use this method in the future for other issues.

comment Can Windows 8.1 Professional run on any PC / laptop?
Thanks, I do not think there will be any technical limitation either. I did check the website before, but they are US and Europe. Is there perhaps a license issue with regards to selling/activating certain version in specific region? Just being extra careful, but I'm not aware of any such cases in the past though...

Thanks, but alread tested and does not work. The outlook profile does not store application settings. The ones under Ribbon File Tab > Options seems to be considered as applicating settings.

No I do not want to reinstall outlook. I just want to at best, click a button to reset to default; or at worse, delete some files here and there, start outlook and let it auto detect. But i will try the /firstrun. Thanks!

comment Computer loses all installed programs and appears to return OS-only state
The laptops when returned to office cannot join back the domain, however a new profile is created instead of reusing the existing one. The installed applications are still gone. Is this a feature of windows that wipes out the system?

comment File deletion audit policy on Windows Server 2008 R2
I have been fighting this problem for a long time. Have not been able to find a proper instruction for auditing deletes on the DFS files. This is by far the best but I need one that starts from the server desktop sogeeky.blogspot.sg/2006/07/…
