After changing your DNS settings, it might be useful to do a ipconfig /flushdns.

But this will mean that it won't replace these characters outside of <code> tags too, right?

comment Are there any good logo creation applications available for Ubuntu?
@Roland, trial versions can be downloaded I think. However, they are for Windows and OS X, as far as I know (adobe.com/downloads)

comment How to adjust Aspect Ratio in Windows Media Center
No, the resolution on my screen is correct. The problem is that the video Showing is in a wrong aspect ratio. It should be 4:3 but the image is narrower than that, so I need to stretch it back into 4:3.

They are kind of the thing I am looking for yes, but more fine grained as you said. Problem is that those just options depend on my screen size. One of the videos I have are in a weird aspect ratio which is less wide than 4:3. And I need to stretch it out to 4:3. Number 3 kiiind of worked when I had MC in window mode and in the 4:3 format, but in fullscreen it is stretched all the way out to 16:9 or 16:10.

comment How do I get permissions to save in a folder that Windows 7 denies me from?
Why are you saving your php files in your program files folder anyways? I would never ever do that... I would have them in a folder on separate drive (or at least partition) in case I managed to crash my OS. If it is because you have some sort of Apache installation living there with a certain web root folder, that can always be changed to something else.
