My weapons of choice are Netscape 2.01, HTML, CSS, PHP and the Gif Construction Kit.

What is the difference between shell, console, and terminal? Fixed typo (removed "for") and made key-sequence more visible, added Ctrl hotkey alternative and explained that the function key specifies the console number. |

How to protect/prevent/lock a Truecrypt volume (container file) against deletion , on an external HDD? Just wanted to stress that. OP might have the wrong conception about how fragile that security model is. |

How to protect/prevent/lock a Truecrypt volume (container file) against deletion , on an external HDD? Mount? Or just put it under a strong electro-magnetic field? I mean I do not even need a computer to delete it nor do I need to be root. It's just simple. Probably disassembling the chassis and scratching with a screw-driver on the plates will do well as well. But some kind of strong magnetic force should just delete that file very well on a hard disk. |

How to protect/prevent/lock a Truecrypt volume (container file) against deletion , on an external HDD? Well, as long as you do not have physical control about the drive, you can not prevent deletion. Obvious that is. So what do you ask for I must ask? |

Get Employee Name from another table, by employee ID from input field in form Why don't you fire some little vbscript on the on-change event? At least back in 2001 or so that worked. |

max folders I can store inside a folder in a linux server Your concern is right, 30000+ might be over the maximum logical limit the device and it's software abstraction layer is able to offer you. You should first of all tell what is the absolute maximum number of folders you want to support (not a + at the end, but the real maximum, real in the sense of sepcification, that and no more must be supported). Then you should address which file-system you're using. |
