As far as I know you cannot connect to a server with more than one set of credentials.

comment How can I set up a Windows server so that the configuration for my clients is centralized?
You are describing exactly what a "server" does. Time to read up and figure out what you need, how much you can spend, and who will set it up for you.

comment new server + domain: what to do with nameserver and dns?
The nameservers for the domain need to point to valid servers that hold your DNS records. You would configure the DNS entries there.

net use X: \\192.168.1.102\h - that means you are creating a drive called X that is mapped to the network share \\192.168.1.102\H

use the IP address instead of the computername. So type in \\192.168.1.102\h /USER:administrator (or whatever the computer romilnagrani IP address is)

Okay try this: on computer 1 go to the command prompt and type: net use x: \\romilnagrani\h /USER:administrator. Then enter the password when asked. You should then be mapped to the H drive on romilnagrani

Also - the user account on the XP computer needs to have a password. IF the 7 computer connects to the XP computer without a password, it will connect as the Guest account with no permissions.
