Realocated Sector Count showing weird number the WD diagnostics is showing that zero sectors have been realocated... and this particular drive is working like this for about 4 years... so i guess that the smart data is somehow bugged. And if did read the hex data right, the drive has been operating for 12000+ hours |

How to find process that's using 100% of CPU i just thought that it would show up somewhere, like the kernel would have a generic process. And thanks for the hint to upgrade kernel. i will do that as soon as we will start migrating to new servers. |

How to find process that's using 100% of CPU hi, on pastebin.com/icvhUCcJ you can find output of my top command on server... i can see only 6 processes (it varies of course) that use around 4% CPU... where is the culprit? :D |

Windows XP only uses 2 GB of my physical 3 GB RAM @Psycogeek that is right, i know that one program can't use more than 2gb... the problem is that i have multiple programs running and the ones in the background are swapped to disk because i have 5 programs running and each uses around 600-700mb ram |

Windows XP only uses 2 GB of my physical 3 GB RAM I thought that 32bit OS can use 3.1GB memory, and that the PAE switch needs to be used when i would have more than 3GB of ram. And even microsoft states that windows xp can use 4GB of physical ram: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/… |
