@lavkush judging from what you have said, you need to restore from backups. Might be able to save some data by plugging the drive into another system. Can't know more from that data.

Generally these types of errors indicate hard drive failure, but it might just be corruption. Either way unlikely to boot fully again.

Is the keyboard wireless? Looks like there is some history of strange behavior on wireless keyboards forums.logitech.com/t5/Keyboard-Software/…. Keyboards can fail in very strange ways.

More details on what you are running? I don't see this problem on Ubuntu 12.04. Opens fine in Firefox or Chrome. Even with images turned off in Firefox, they are still loaded as it is a local file.
