When I changed the listening port back to 22, it works fine.

@Paul, maybe I wasn't clear: It already works fine with Hamachi, no forwarding needed. But we want it to work globally without having to use Hamachi.

Thanks! This worked for me: for f in */; do c=$(find "$f" | wc -l) ; printf "$c $f\n"; done | sort (Never heard of the $() thing before.) The */ reduces result to just directories.
