Have you tried using ClearType Text Tuner to improve the subpixel rendering?

You need to rewrite the question for it to make sense, but seems you already got an answer from Daniel - flagging to close.

comment Notepad++ auto complete HTML end tags after </ (like Dreamweaver does)
Eclipse does autocomplete, though I do think its too heavyweight for just editing html. +1 for the question, I use NPP too and would be nice to have such a plugin

comment How can I search for regular expressions within webpages using Google Chrome or IE?
All the UUencoded chars makes it hard to read, I found what appears to be the multiline version at stackoverflow.com/questions/9280195/…

comment installer download vs zipped download
@Pacerier: yes, if not for the useful registry entries it would be a simpler answer to just use the zip ;). On the flip side, .exe also means unselecting any bundleware like toolbars ...

comment installer download vs zipped download
Registry entries that are not necessary shouldn't be touched, agree completely - I hate intrusive programs that want to write everywhere :(. But I may want to enable a shell extension, set options that are maintained through the program's registry entries, make it the default to open some mime type, etc. ... all of these involve registry changes that I'd rather be done by an installer prompting me instead of merging various .reg files

comment installer download vs zipped download
@Pacerier: By validation, I was referring to how some shareware or commercial apps register themselves by storing an encrypted value in the registry, to enable full functionality - though usually those apps won't give you a choice of zipped download anyway, but if they did you'd have to download a seperate .reg for 'registration' of the program.

He's saying to download ZIP if your connection (workplace etc.) blocks EXE download or if you want a portable install (say on a USB)

comment Relationship between seeding torrents and downloading?
Don't know of a consistent way to check, uploading clients won't all be the same and have differing behavior. Maybe reduce the upload bandwidth allocated to a particular torrent and see if you notice a reduction in download speed (easy, but unreliable - speed can also be lower because you completed more blocks and less people have remaining ones). That said, unless there is a pressing reason you should try to upload at 1:1 ratio if possible imho.
