comment Could Thunderbolt be added to an Existing Motorboard using a new PCI-Express Card?
I may have found the answer while Binging around... Seems that the demo that was shown at the IDF was using a Prototype Mac Pro, using a PCI Express card. (See wikipedia article [here][1]). Also, they mention that the Thunderbolt Controller connects to both a x4 PCI Express slot, and a Display Port Connection... so, in theory, a card could arrive which could have a graphics card and a few ThunderBolt ports, and i would be very happy... weather or not it will happen is another question... Stupid Rep system on SuperUser is causing me to put this as a comment... Looks like this is putting a kibosh on the whole idea: support.crashplan.com/doku.php/articles/admin_excludes

comment Win2k8R2 + Hyper-V + MacPro = Virtualized OSX Allowed?
The HyperV support may have changed since that last question.... 2k8R2 has been released, and even though Microsoft dont support more operating systems (still some distros of Linux and Windows) FreeBSD will work, as will many others.... The Syntetic drivers (i think thats what there called... the ones in the HyperV components) will mainly only work with Windows, and there are some in the Linux Kernel, but in theory if FreeBSD works, so should OSX... in theory... Will see if i can maybe walk though the VMWare tutorials and see if they work...
