Which SATA operation mode for SATA III SSD in laptop? I downvoted because both the "ACHI" and "RAID On" options enable AHCI on the E6420. Selecting "RAID On" enables Intel-specific RST enhancements. |

How do I fix my USB drive to get its original 8GB size back? These instructions may work for normal hard drives, but I do not think they work for drives that Windows detects as removable. |

Remote Desktop Connection - How to get the certificate prompt back? I don't think this is correct. The correct entry to delete is HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server\Client\LocalDevices\<name>. |

How can I manually configure a network drive mapping in Windows 3.11? @William Thanks for the advice. Using FTP or a file server with reduced security sitting in the middle sound like they might work. I ended up getting around this problem by sharing files in the other direction. Other computers on our network are able to see folders shared from Win3.11. |

How can I manually configure a network drive mapping in Windows 3.11? @BillP3rd This likely would work if I could get the computer to stop prompting for domain log on. Years ago it had access to the domain before we disabled support for LANMAN hashes. I've had success sharing files from this computer, so the problem is effectively solved. Thanks for your advice. |

How can I manually configure a network drive mapping in Windows 3.11? @Tom "We've struggled with this on Stack Overflow, too. The broad soft questions tend to get much more interest and attention than the narrow, technical coding questions that we originally intended the site for." Anyway, I won't be commenting on this further. |

How can I manually configure a network drive mapping in Windows 3.11? @surfasb I debated over which site to post this question on. Were I asking how to get this computer to authenticate, then ServerFault would definately be the proper place. This is one of those situations where Windows prompts for a password when none should be needed. |
