comment HTTP headers of Gmail
Keep in mind you cannot login to Gmail, you login to Google. When you enter Gmail it will redirect you to a special page in Google that will generate an authentication key and redirect you back to Gmail with that key, so Gmail can determine if you are logged in on Google and if you are, who you are there. So we are talking about at least a couple page loads here.

comment Measure DDOS attack strength
An observator would only be able to notice stuff like increase in latency, packet loss, and possibly turbulence in transfer speed assuming he is able to download/upload stuff from the given server, obviously nothing accurate. Not to mention all of that is also susceptible to variations in his own connection and route.

comment Moving Win7 C:\ to another partition on same hdd
I'm not sure, but you certainly will have to do that from another boot. There is probably no way you can move the system's partition while its running in it.

comment How to determine which partition has badblocks?
Bad sector is a physical defect caused by loose particles and corrosion and it usually spread. I recommend you backup your data and replace your hard drive the sooner you detect it, because soon or later it will become a critical problem and you will lose your data.

Well what can I say, storage devices don't like unexpected shut downs. Check the %TEMP% folder for backups and good luck.

What happened is very simple, your computer shut down when it shouldn't and disk data became inconsistent. Nothing you can do about it.

It's a good practice to turn your project folder into a Git repository and commit daily (mine do that automatically), this way you not only have a backup but a backup that can be restored back and forward to any situation you need. It's very handy and have saved my bacon several times.

comment Which GPUs are real Kepler cores?
A GeForce 400 series using Kepler? Nonsense. The 600 series is introducing the Kepler architecture to the market, no other serie used it before.

comment Why/how is svchost.exe using all of my memory?
Can it tell which of the many services running under each svchost process is consuming all the memory? Because if not, then its useless.
