comment How can I remove “Microsoft Antimalware”: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Microsoft Antimalware?
@grawity, I checked add/remove programs, including windows components, and it's not showing up there. I believe it's only malware and not a false positive.

I can't find a program called "Microsoft Antimalware" on the internet, and I haven't installed one. If it has been installed, it's the result of a security update.

comment An explorer pane in Notepad++?
@Mehrdad There's a plugin manager in the program. I prefer to use that b/c installing them manually is more of a chore and presents a greater security risk. Thanks, though. +1

comment Detect and monitor changes to MySQL database
@Synetech Cool, I got it going. Wow, it's hard to decipher, but it's much better than going without. :)

comment Detect and monitor changes to MySQL database
I tried MySQL Administrator, but the general query log still needs to be toggled. The official MySQL documentation is really ambiguous, to the point of being nonsense. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

comment Detect and monitor changes to MySQL database
@Synetech That sounds accurate. For example, if I add some new content to my website, I'd like to know where the database was altered. If I add a new module to my site, and it alters a .php file in a different module, I'd like to know how it edited the pre-existing module. This an okay example?

@Synetech I guess I need to try some RCS's and see which one works out. The purpose isn't for the revisions but for the information, of course.

Thunderbird, ionstar? That's what I meant.... My mistake. It's a useful tool for localhost-to-localhost e-mails.
