Audio issues during KVM switch dude, you're the man! I thought it was the KVM until I plugged the speaker directly into the back of my PC, and it still dropped volume when switching to the other PC. I think the root cause is that the KVM disconnects all USB (as my USB speaker soundbar cuts out completely). |

How To run Multiple Versions of the Same Program on Windows 7 then its an issue with the app opening a single-use resource (eg a network connection or something) which the 2nd instance cannot open simultaneously. As a result you cannot run 2 instances together. You could run the 2nd in a virtual machine, but that's the best you're going to get. |
