comment VMware guest pauses when the host is idle - how do I keep it running?
This answer did not help me at all. I don't think this is correct.

comment Get colors in 'less'' command
@naught101 @Steven Lu Edited in, though it seems that some people may not need to use less -R (according to the author of the original post, anyway).

comment Letter keys are not working on Windows 8 sometimes?
I just experienced a similar issue with only the 'H' key at the unlock screen (tested 2 keyboards); restarting solved. I uninstalled prepackaged McAfee weeks ago and am using Windows Defender.

comment Pass command line arguments to Windows “Open With”
Accepted because this seems to be the right answer from what I have researched. However, this process seems ineffectual on the system I'm using. I can use ftype and assoc to verify that the changes went through, but it does not affect the program used to open files. Maybe the process has changed in Windows 7?

comment Microsoft Visio Label transition arrows in UML Statechart (without square brackets)
Nice! Thanks for the help. Not the easiest way of doing things, but at least it's possible.

comment Excel Auto-Fill Without Mouse (Keyboard Only)
Nice, this works well. The AutoFill option (Alt-F) seems to work well for most of my past use cases. Using Trend and Growth also allows me to do multiplicative series. Very cool! Sort of a lot of keys to press, but I guess that's what I asked for.

comment Excel Auto-Fill Without Mouse (Keyboard Only)
I mean that it won't automatically deduce a series. For example, type 1 in A1, 2 in A2, and then highlight both. If you do the Fill-Down with the mouse, it will start counting up automatically. Since the Ctrl+D method has no way to select more than one source cell, it will only copy more ones. AFAIK, only additive series will work.

comment Excel Auto-Fill Without Mouse (Keyboard Only)
This is pretty helpful. The only thing is that it automatically bases its fill on the first cell only. This will duplicate a cell, but will not extend a series. Still, this is very helpful, thanks!

comment What non-numeric characters can a number contain in Microsoft Excel (2007)
@Dennis Good thought. It does seem to be at least largely a CFML issue; I'll head over there and post a question. Thanks!

comment What non-numeric characters can a number contain in Microsoft Excel (2007)
Excellent, I like the citation. If D and F can't be number characters, I guess I have a different problem than I thought... that helps!
