I scanned a block that included a known webserver on one IP. All IPs that did have a working web server still reported the "error" printout instead of "open" as its supposed to be in your code.

neat script brother nerdwaller. However for open IPs I only see error and the state only displays IP. I haven't used nmap before in python so wonder what is missing. Any clues before read the whole doc? thanks

comment How do I remove the same part of a file name for many files in Windows 7?
thanks. I saw this in google search but have to be careful with installing random software. given your rep and recommendation I installed it and it is incredible. No fiddling with powershell etc. I am a programmer and love the Trim, regex features. It works better than advertised. I highly recommend this too. ups!

thanks. I will go with your suggestion and get atleast 2GB of ram if not 4. That should buy me time and I can always install linux to get more power if RAM is all that's slowing things down.

@Oggy the RAM is inexpensive, 4GB will cost less than 90$. The Disk is a fairly new SATAII. Another year for 100 bucks seems enough. SSD seems overkill for storage and browsing and SSD are expensive by itself. But good ideas.

@Journeyman, thanks. Windows takes 50% of ram as usual seems 512 MB may not be enough for modern browsers.

@Journeyman I have already read it before posting. I hope you will be less condescending. I am more concerned that just ram is enough or not and how do I find it out. You just had me repeat my Q

seems you need multisession. I have not used rdp for along time but I assume you are using a Windows Server family not a desktop one (which does not support multisession for sure).
