Enabling access to a home server from “Internet” side I'm not understanding, what do you mean that it will listen from now on to port 8080? Have you checked the firewall rules on your server? Could be your server machine itself is not letting outside packets in on port 80. Can you access your webserver from your LAN? Can you access your webserver from the computer itself (via localhost)? |

Enabling access to a home server from “Internet” side I'm assuming that the only firewall you have between your server and your browser is on your router. If this is the case, your task is really simple. You just need to go to your router's administration screen and change it's firewall settings. Almost any router will let you forward port 10000 on the WAN side to server-ip:80 on the LAN side. It works best if your router also allows you to assign the server a permanent LAN IP The specific directions will depend on brand. You might also have to change the firewall rules on your server to open port 80 in your ipchains rules, but probably not. |

SSH login very slow on OS X Leopard Wifi->cable internet. My signal has strong enough that there's no unusual latency accessing other remote services, nor any latency after the connection finally establishes itself. |

Terminal with session management and scrollback OS X Hmm, might be worth a look, but reading the wiki, it seems like it's far from perfect...one would think this is a problem easily solved. |

Remove Aptana Rubles folder I had this same problem with Aptana Studio Plugin for Eclipse on Mac OS X. The solution was to open up the Eclipse.app contents, and then edit the eclipse.ini file within by adding the -Daptana.ruble.user.location=/User/user/Dev/aptana-studio line |
