comment Ethernet throttling itself? Wireless is fine. Video of issue included
How fast is your actual internet speed? The direct connection might show your actual speed while the wireless connection shows the wireless speed.

comment In Windows laser printer settings, what exactly does the 'media type' setting affect?
What are you actually printing to? Normal paper? Don't special transfer foil? What's your "other media" going to be? There are special transfer foils for ink-jets as well.

If Task Manager shows 100%, which process is it associated with?

comment How to refer to a file with name beginning `--`?
Many programs also understand a parameter --, which will stop them from interpreting further entries starting with - as options.

comment Windows 10 cant boot after installing Solus os
Better try automatic repair first. The system might be using GPT, so using the MBR option might not be a good idea.

comment Is it possible to use Chrome Canary and Netbeans Connector?
Ah, okay. I missed the shading around those entries and the caption.

comment Is it possible to use Chrome Canary and Netbeans Connector?
The second "Chrome" entry is just a repeat? Or a mislabeled Canary?

comment Is there an easy way to update all (most) extensions at once?
No, while a good idea it won't magically change/update dependencies as well.

comment Is there an easy way to update all (most) extensions at once?
Neat, unfortunately it's incompatible with version 2015.

That's what I fear as well, but maybe there's something we're missing.

comment Strategy for transporting VM between home and office
How about cloning the image, using separate copies at home/work and only sync your working dit e.g. using Dropbox? If that's not an option, you might want to explain what you're doing with the VMs.

comment Anyone really understand Windows File History in Windows 10?
No, it's not based on the disk capacity. There's a fixed maximum size in the settings. The drive could be 6 TB and the limit could still be as low.

comment Anyone really understand Windows File History in Windows 10?
There's a disk space limit (similar to recycle bin). Maybe that's the culprit?

comment Why should we wipe disks multiple times?
To add: many modern SSD drives typically use internal drive encryption, so to wipe the drive all you have to do is recreate a new encryption key, which will make recovery impossible no matter the actual disk usage.

comment Bind application to a specific network interface
Is there some specific goal you're trying to achieve? By default, the game doesn't need any incoming connections to work properly. Are you trying to cheat or record/playback games?

comment Windows 7 not showing connected android device's internal storage in explorer
@nilkash Have you tried switching mode back and forth? How about reinstalling/changing drivers? Or is the device not even shown in Device Manager?

comment Insalling Windows 10 on a laptop with 32GB space
You're eligible for the upgrade as long as you start setup from within Windows. It doesn't matter where/how. Just don't do a clean install by accident by booting off the USB drive.

@Chloe Updated my answer with a different, probably better and easier approach.

comment Not able to ping to IPV6 address from Windows 7
AFAIK that just forces IPv6 to be preferred, but it's not an absolute requirement. Not 100% sure without looking it up though.
