comment Can I use both my internal and external graphics card in same system?
Yeah, I most likely experienced the auto setting

comment Does imgur delete old images that have few image views?
I was referring to images connected to an account. I don't think there's any limit on anonymous uploads.

I'm pretty sure modern CPUs will disable in-chip GPU's if not connected at boot anyway, but it might have been a special thing. At least I've had that experience with a ZBox: I wouldn't get any HDMI output unless the screen has been present when turning that thing on.

comment Run bash script at boot?
Another option would be creating a crontab entry with @reboot as the "time".

comment How to bulk rename numbered files?
@BeowulfOF You could probably use voice command to "automate" it a bit more. It might be a bit cumbersome, but it still gets the job done and it's probably the easiest/quickest solution that doesn't require any specific or additional setup.

comment how to setup separate desktop session to laptop from TV
Chromecast is more like live-streaming, yes. What's your goal? Play games on the TV? Or just surfing the web a bit?

comment how to setup separate desktop session to laptop from TV
I don't think that setup will work, i.e. the TV won't be able to work as a client since it's really just a screen with some added features. You might have to add another device like a smartphone to be used with remote desktop/VNC stuff.

comment My CPU fan is running very high speed even with less cpu usage
"If you remove some USB drives it may reduce the fan speed but the difference wouldn't be significant, so probably you wont even notice it." I'm not really sure how that would have any significant impact on a properly working system.

comment My CPU fan is running very high speed even with less cpu usage
This would require at least one of the cores to be under full load. The CPU isn't busy at all, so that's definitely not the reason.

comment Run a process on another network PC as the logged in user
Sounds promising and interesting. Haven't tried it myself so far. @LPChip You're obviously able to pass a username and password, but not sure those are just for authentication purposes.

comment Run a process on another network PC as the logged in user
@Mr.Boy Couldn't think of any other way around that, unless the remote machine regularly looks for some file on a web server for example and executes its contents (like some trojans).

@DsDude Any error message? Maybe update your initial question with what you've tried now and the results.

comment Can't install grub on MBR, encountered an error “Unable to install GRUB in /dev/sda”
@DsDude You'll have to tell Windows' bootloader that there's some other OS there. See the question/answer I linked. It includes step-by-step procedure on how you're able to essentially add GRUB to the Windows bootloader.

comment Always on Remote Desktop Connection
@RowlandShaw I guess it's actually more about simple access and availability rather than "always on". Sounds like a potential security hole though.

comment How can I merge a standard hard drive to a hard drive with the os on it to act as one?
@SebastianU. You've been on the right track. Which path did you try? You can't mount it to the root of the file system. You'll have to pick some folder (like C:\Stuff).

comment How can I merge a standard hard drive to a hard drive with the os on it to act as one?
@SebastianU. Ah ok. :) But even then, both my ideas are still valid and should offer you the easiest and most convenient way to link both drives, while still keeping their independence.

comment Windows 8 says I have a touchscreen but in Device Manager it does not show a touch screen
@JohnDemetriou Check the drivers, maybe it has two modes of operation. E.g. my Wacom tablet has two modes, either as a touchscreen device or as a classic touchpad. Both modes will cause Windows to behave differently.

comment USB Flash Drive Capacity Lost
What's the file system? If it's formatted already, that space is most likely reserved for file system stuff, which - depending on the actual file system being used - might have different sizes from a few MB up to half a GB or possibly even more.

comment Can't get PCI-e SSD to be recognized in Linux/Windows
Windows won't show any volumes (i.e. "drives") unless they actually exist on the physical hard drive. Have you checked disk management to see whether it lists the SSD as a (unassigned) storage device?

comment Remote or wireless access to XBMC (android box or RPi) from Win8 PC
While I've setup multiple RPi systems, I'm not 100% proficient with using DropBox on Unix, shell scripting and the like, so I'll leave that for someone else to answer. You could however update your actual question to better reflect that you're looking for a minimal system (either Android or RPi; make it clear that it doesn't have to be Android) and what you'd like it to do. Also there are emulators available for RPi as well. :)
