comment How can we get past records of paging file sizes in Windows?
@JonathanGray, Besides registry, I was hoping there might be some relevant data leak lurking around %systemroot%. Btw, why is this offtopic for Windows forensics? This is exactly the same kind of question as 23280, 36445, and 109321. Also similar threads: 36212, 73375, 17726.

@Zoredache, The 'security' aspect is Windows forensics. Or is that off?

@harrymc, Hmm, this is weird, why would some Windows files be unmovable? What would the logic be for that decision?

@JonathanGray, Nice, are there other areas where we can get related past records from way back? Or is CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management the only location? (If so you could post it as answer.)

@fretje, But why can't primary partitions be extended?

comment How to “print to PDF” multiple books using Calibre?
@David, Yes I'm on Windows 8.1 with latest version of Calibre too. Export seems like a completely different thing from Print-to-PDF because it looks like only a one-step conversion. There's no option to produce the same result as print-to-PDF which seems like a two-step conversion (rendering first using the Viewer, then converting the rendered output into PDF).
