What causes fonts to render badly in Chrome? I have already reinstalled Chrome and LastPass, both last versions. |

Cannot open text files with Turkish characters Actually this was the only option to make these subtitles work, but it makes installers and other software programs think I am Turkish, so their default language is Turkish. |

How can I copy files from a scratched CD/DVD? I have tried the toothpaste, it did not work. I have also tried the robocopy, with or without a /W:1 the same issue. It keeps stuck on each corrupt file for 5 minutes after going to the next with a "Data Error: Cyclic Redundancy Check". Screenshots: i.imgur.com/ijTD6.png i.imgur.com/4VkCE.png |

Ubuntu automatically logging out within 10 minutes Janis: All software, all programs are closed when it logs out. So I can assure you, it's not the lock screen. It effectively means I can't do anything the first 10 minutes until the first logout or risk losing work. |

Ubuntu not shutting down Yes, but that makes it my last Ubuntu experience (last year) all over again. In the 2 weeks I used Ubuntu, I had to reinstall the entire system twice and that's what people used as argument against Windows: Ubuntu doesn't require to reinstall. Also, I don't like the term FUBAR: It means just giving up and not learning. |
