Have you checked Windows Update for additional drivers?

comment Which TrueCrypt Algorithm is the safest?
They're all safe, otherwise they wouldn't be in the product. But use AES, since it's the standard.

comment How do I get rid of the extra options on a pinned program on the start menu
Then i would ask for the version numbers of both. i would also suggest that if one Chome is not showing the "New Tab" option on some machines: it's a bug that you should report.

comment Vista/7: Possible to DPI lie, but without the scaling?
Virtual PC is limited to the resolution of the Tseng Labs ET6000 video card (or whatever it was). Windows XP Mode will change the resolution of the virtual computer to machine the window that the virtual machine runs in.

@Shinrai i don't know, i assume so. But having your install program mess with the Windows settings, which is also the user's preferences, is a bad thing. i know why it was done; the pinned list and the recently used list of the start menu are very much linked (for now). And they didn't want help files and uninstallers to get onto the MRU list.
