comment Mass deleting files in Windows
@martineau: No, the test timings were (if I remember correctly) deleting the folders in place. It's usually quick to move a folder to C:\stufftodelete`. Copying is slooow, but you don't want that. If you have another drive (eg E:), also create E:\stufftodelete` and always move files to the same drive's folder and include it in deletestuff.bat (which also recreates the folders at the end for next time).
