How to uncompress a 9GB file in Windows FAT32 For those dubious about the idea of an AVI file being so space-inefficient, remember that AVI is a container format, not a video encoding. |

Can I encrypt data in a way that it can be read normally but can't be copied or edited? @Michael: And you can certainly "read" as much data from /dev/null and write it to another location. Once you've read data, the source can't control what you do with what's in memory. |

How can I split a large SQL file into smaller chunks? Voted to migrate to Superuser, as this isn't a development question. |

Security Concern with my Windows 7 Box at Work @Josh: But it isn't "your" file system; it's your employer's. If HR is storing sensitive documents in a location that is not properly secured, that is another issue entirely. It sounds like the real problem, as others have pointed out, is in the way security is set up on your network, not the fact that c$ exists. |

Suck or blow? What's better for dust? @barlop: I'm also pretty sure that delivery companies don't pack parcels into personal luggage of any kind |

Suck or blow? What's better for dust? @barlop: I'm guessing that most delivery companies are going to be hesitant about putting pressurized air canisters on airplanes whose cargo areas typically aren't. |

Suck or blow? What's better for dust? At the risk of being pedantic, there's no difference between "sucking" and "blowing" (or, more accurately, all sucking is blowing). Oh, forget it. I'm not even going to finish this. |

need an application switcher You're specifically asking how to do it without writing software. This isn't software development related. |

Errors while installing SQL Server SSIS 2005 And when this gets migrated, clean it up. The StackExchange sites are a place to ask questions that will be useful to other people, not an internet forum for (understandably) frustrated rantings. |

Why is it that some files on my system have a modified date before their creation date? FluxCapacitor.exe has a known issue that causes this problem. |
