comment How to stream MPEG-TS over UDP?
I think this is a step in the right direction. I tried streaming the file in the Linux VM: filesrc ! queue ! udpsink and it doesn't have the TS protocol. Using filesrc ! mpegtsdemux ! mpegtsmux ! udpsink and it does. Looks like the filesrc is stripping out the TS info.

comment How do I delete a previous Windows partition?
Norton Ghost is something i used to use all the time at work. I'm sure there are free options available as well if you search. A disk imaging program is what you are looking for. One that can restore to a different sized destination.

comment Water cooling a PC, is it really expensive?
@LorenPechtel, I'm not sure either. I really think it's a decent answer, right up the OP's alley. I use the self-contained units on all my computers now. Simple, silent, and cheap. What was an 80C mild OC'd Core i7 rarely goes above 45C now.

comment Why has my Mac become so slow? (And how do I start to answer that?)
Disks often come from the factory with bad sectors, going off the raw value isn't a positive sign that it's going bad, having it go passed the threshold is.

@Pascal, oops. I must have glazed over it and read it as 32-bit. Even so, I think I'm out of my league.

What about downloading the newer version of gcc (or the source) and installing it as a use in your home directory (if you have one)? Well, how big is this program?

Well, duh. I was just using the Web Console the other day. This is one way to tell.

@Chiyou, If the OP did I cannot see it explicitly or implicitly.

@DragonLord, Well, it figures they have a name for it. Thanks.

Yes, and there was a time where processors were sold that were identical, save for the speed locked into them at the factory, and the price. I don't know if this still applies.

comment Setting up Lighttpd and FastCGI for my own web app?
I've removed the bin-path line in mod_fastcgi.conf, keeping the socket, and the server starts. The only indication I get that it has opened that socket in the logs, is: "all handlers for /tiny.fcgi? on tiny.fcgi are down." Now I am getting 500/503 errors in lighttpd.

comment Setting up Lighttpd and FastCGI for my own web app?
Well, there is a socket at /var/run/lighttpd/tiny.socket-1, my FCGI application has created that. I just don't know how to get Lighttpd to "open" that socket. I figured it was in the config file and had something to do with cgi-fcgi. In mod_fcgi.conf I specified that same socket: "socket" => "/var/run/lighttpd/fcgi.socket-1", but either cgi-fcgi is the wrong program to call, or I'm calling it wrong.
